Solihull Council's current plan shows:

OUR VISION

Solihull in 2018: Where everyone has an equal chance to be healthier, happier, safer and prosperous.

- This is the vision we share with our strategic public, private and voluntary sector partners in order to improve outcomes for everyone in Solihull. It directs everything we do.

OUR PURPOSE

Lives not Services: To be an organisation that improves lives.

An organisation needs a purpose in order to know how to make full use of the resources at its disposal. Our Purpose sits at the core of a culture we are creating that puts the emphasis on improving lives before anything else. Our Purpose complements Our Vision.

OUR AMBITION

Good to Great: To be an organisation that our citizens and staff say is a great one.

As an organisation we have been told that we are a good one and that we could be better. So rising to that challenge we have set ourselves an ambition to be great. With greatness being a measure of the value our communities place on the work we do and how we are improving lives.

OUR BRAND

Open. Honest. Approachable. Keeping our Promises.

Our Brand defines the personality of our Council. It was developed by local people who said this is how they expect the Council (its Councillors and staff) to behave. In return they will trust us to do the right things. Our Brand sits at the heart of The Solihull Way.
