Who we are
- A Middle East Technical University–based, student-led research and development laboratory contributing to the university’s space engineering and small satellite initiatives
- An interdisciplinary team of undergraduate and graduate students working within the academic and research environment of Middle East Technical University
- A laboratory-driven initiative supporting hands-on education, research, and system-level engineering at the university
What we do
- Design, develop, and test small satellite platforms and subsystems
- Contribute to the development of Middle East Technical University’s first CubeSat, with a focus on subsystem-level engineering and integration
-Develop space-related engineering solutions, including:
- Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS)
- Guidance, navigation, and control algorithms
- Sensor and payload development
- Onboard computer and system integration
- Transform mission concepts into engineered and validated space systems
- Represent Middle East Technical University in international competitions and collaborative space projects
- Establish and operate a dedicated space systems laboratory with satellite testbeds and experimental environments, including planetary rover studies
