SkyBeacon Labs is developing a lightweight, low-power Hybrid Collision Avoidance System (CAS) for UAV fleets, OEMs, and system integrators.

Our architecture, which operates today as a cooperative safety network, processes cross-platform state sharing at the edge to generate real-time avoidance decisions—without cloud dependency or additional sensor load.

As low-altitude airspace rapidly becomes more congested, the ability to operate independently of infrastructure under real-world constraints—such as latency, packet loss, and multi-agent dynamics—is becoming critical. SkyBeacon addresses this need with a SWaP-C (size, weight, power, cost)-sensitive layer that can be added without altering the existing flight control architecture.

Our roadmap aims to expand this network into a full Hybrid CAS architecture that also encompasses non-cooperative traffic and environmental obstacles.
