Setfords

Setfords is the fastest-growing UK Top 100 law firm.

Nearly twenty years ago, we became the first full-service firm in the UK to launch a consultancy model, pioneering a new way of practising law. Today, we are a nationally recognised brand with over 1,000 people, including 650+ consultant lawyers nationwide.

Our consultant lawyers don’t report to anyone. They choose when, where and how they work — and build thriving practices on their own terms. We provide unrivalled back-office support in compliance, IT, admin, secretarial, marketing, business development, and more, so they can focus entirely on themselves and their clients.

That model works. Clients have given us over 16,000 reviews on Trustpilot, with an “Excellent” 4.9-star rating, because our infrastructure enables lawyers to deliver outstanding service and the very best outcomes.

Innovation has always been at our core. From pioneering our platform model to building one of the strongest tech teams in the industry, we like to stay ahead of the curve. And we continue to be at the forefront of the innovations that are transforming legal services.

Our culture and achievements have been recognised across the industry:

• New Law Business of the Year 2025 (The Lawyer Awards)

• Sunday Times Best Places to Work (4 years running)

• The only law firm in the world with Double Gold Investors in People accreditation

It’s no surprise that in the last two years, more lawyers have chosen to join Setfords than any other UK law firm.
