The confectionary art and trade had been under the monopoly of the Greek Community until 1901 when Mr.Ali Galip Irmak founded his first ALİ GALİP shop in İzmir,Şekercileriçi area,where he produced Turkish delights,confectionary and different kinds of jams. These products were of such a good quality that Ali Galip was honoured with medals in various fairs and festivals. In 1920, Mr. Mehmet Irmak(the cousin of Mr. Ali Galip Irmak) joined the company due to the considerable growth of business and new branches specialized in retail sales of confectionary and pastry were opened.

After Mr. Ali Galip Irmak passed away in 1946, Mr. Mehmet Irmak took ower the management of the company. He expanded the business by adding new branches as well as increasing the production to meet the growing demand. Mehmet Irmak's sons who had already been working with their father started to manage the company after their father's death in 1984,and succesfully increased the business capacity by adding up new products to the company's existing production line. At the present,traditional Turkish sweets such as 'baklava',halva, Turkish delights,a variety of puddings and cookies are being produced in most hygenic conditions.

By applying the recent technology and employing specialized staff in our factory we are happy to able to realize our aim of offering hygenically produced good quality products with reasonable prices to our customers.
