SeedAir: Aerial Reforestation
An engineering initiative between KTH Royal Institute of Technology and EESC-USP focused on Sustainability, UAV Innovation, and Automation.
The project centers on an affordable VTOL UAV for autonomous reforestation. Through automation and a custom-integrated dispenser, the project provides a solution for seed dispersal in terrains that are difficult to access by ground.
The main objective is to produce an efficient and compact platform by optimizing the trade-off between seed payload capacity and flight endurance, ensuring a functional and effective, low-cost tool for reforestation.
