SECURE ID FORUM

Secure ID Forum is the international meeting point for the people who build and run national identity systems - border and migration authorities, passport and civil-registry offices, digital government leaders, and the industry that equips them.

Since 2011, the Forum has convened senior officials from over 40 countries for two days of open, practitioner-level exchange on digital identity, ePassports and travel documents, biometric border management, and cyber resilience - alongside the closed intergovernmental meetings that only happen when the right people are in the same building.

Secure ID Forum 2026 takes place on 15-16 September at the Ataturk Cultural Center, Istanbul - hosted with Kultura and supported by main sponsor Turk Telekom. The programme brings together IOM, Frontex and Interpol, next-generation passport insights from Ireland's Department of Foreign Affairs, digital identity lessons from Estonia, and Turkiye's cyber security and research institutions.

One conversation, both sides of the table: the governments that issue identity, and the technologies that secure it.
