Yönetim Bilişim Sistemleri (YBS), teknoloji, insanlar ve organizasyonlar arasındaki ilişkileri inceleyen disiplinler arası bir alandır. Bilişim teknolojilerinin artan önemiyle birlikte, işletmeler rekabetçi piyasalarda fark yaratacak projelere yönelmekte ve bilgiyi, teknolojiyi etkin şekilde yönetecek bireylere ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu alandaki gelişmeler, daha verimli karar alma süreçleri oluştururken, bilişim sistemlerinin yönetimi de ayrı bir uzmanlık alanı haline gelmiştir. YBS’nin temel amacı, bilişim ve işletme bilgisine sahip öğrenciler yetiştirmektir.
Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi'nde 2011 yılında kurulan Yönetim Bilişim Sistemleri Kulübü, öğrencilere sosyal, akademik ve kariyer alanlarında çeşitli etkinlikler sunmaktadır. 312 üyeye sahip kulüp, 2011'den bu yana aktif olup, gelişen şartlara uyum sağlayarak faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.
