SC Vocational Rehabilitation

Government Administration in United States

Overview

The SC Vocational Rehabilitation Department prepares and assists eligible South Carolinians with disabilities to achieve and maintain competitive employment.

SCVRD prides itself on being a good steward of its public funding. The department ranks at or near the top nationally in many vocational rehabilitation service categories. We’re proud that the department’s efficiency and effectiveness are a national model for VR agencies.

But our most rewarding benefits are realized when our clients, who have been dependent on tax-supported benefits, become taxpayers as they enter competitive employment.
