Overview
Safaş 1966 yılında Polistiren Köpük (EPS) üretmek üzere Topkapı'da faliyetlerine başlamıştır. Kuruluşunun akabinde, 1967 yılında Sünger üretimine başladıktan sonra, 1970 - 1989 yılları arasında Pendik tesislerinde sünger üretimine devam etmiştir.
1990 yılında Gebze'de kurulan, ve 2020 yılında tamamen yenilenen modern tesislerinde, Safaş, halen Marmara bölgesinin en büyük sünger üreticisidir. 2009 yılında Ankara'da ve 2015 yılında Adana'da devreye alınan, Türkiye'nin en modern ve büyük kapasiteli sünger tesisleri ile Safaş, her geçen gün büyüyen pazar talebini göz önünde bulundurarak, Marmara'da bölgesel bir üretici konumundan, ulusal bir sünger temincisi konumuna gelmiştir.
Halen Türkiye genelinde mobilya, yatak, otomotiv, izolasyon, tekstil, temizlik ve medikal endüstrilerine, hizmet veren Safaş, yüksek teknolojisi, 50 yılı aşkın pazar tecrübesi, hizmet ve servis kalitesi ile Poliüretan sünger sektörünün pazar lideridir.
