Revolta AG

Revolta is pioneering the first sodium-based high-voltage home storage solution for residential energy systems.

While most existing home storage technologies rely on lithium-ion cells due to their high energy density, sodium-ion technology offers a fundamentally safer alternative — and we are bringing it into the home.

Our sodium-based HV battery system is designed to be safer, more compact, and lighter than conventional solutions. Sodium-ion chemistry provides superior thermal stability and a significantly reduced risk of overheating or thermal runaway, making it a robust choice for residential energy storage.

At the core of our system is our innovative proprietary DC-DC converter technology with a specially developed high-frequency transformer. Our 2.2 kWh battery unit operates with only three cells, compared to the much higher cell counts typically required in traditional systems. This breakthrough dramatically reduces system complexity, minimizes electronic components, and enables one of the most compact and lightweight home storage systems available.

Beyond safety and form factor, Revolta is redefining system performance. Conventional multi-cell systems suffer from performance loss due to cell variations and mismatches. By eliminating cell matching and enabling lossless real-time balancing, our architecture delivers higher energy yield and improved long-term system stability.

Our solution is fully modular, from a single 2.2 kWh battery module up to 22 kWh, allowing flexible deployment for a wide range of residential energy needs — from compact installations to larger home energy systems.
