Resilience for Peace

Resilience for Peace (R4P) is a locally-led effort, consisting of mostly volunteers, dedicated to strengthening community resilience in northern Côte d’Ivoire, an area facing rising insecurity, cross-border pressures, and the threat of violent extremism. Established in 2025 by former local and international staff members from the USAID-funded Resilience for Peace project, R4P builds on four years of trusted relationships, field research, and community-driven action.

R4P works directly with youth, women, traditional leaders, herders, farmers, and local authorities to prevent conflict, improve governance, strengthen social cohesion, and expand economic opportunities. Our teams, embedded in the communities they serve, use locally generated evidence and participatory methods to design interventions that are context-specific, scalable, and sustainable.
