Promethean Builders

Promethean Builders is a general contractor and construction manager headquartered in New York City, with operations throughout the Northeast United States and South Florida. Founded in 2021 by Robert Hubner — a construction executive with over 25 years of industry experience and a team of hand-selected industry veterans — the firm provides principal-led execution for technically demanding, high-visibility projects.

Promethean is trusted by the country’s leading developers, institutions, and global brands to deliver complex work in high-stakes environments. The firm’s portfolio includes landmark historic renovations in Times Square, iconic performing arts venues in Manhattan, office to residential conversions and net-zero-carbon retail flagships. Promethean is currently delivering more than three million square feet of commercial and mixed-use development in South Florida, in addition to managing multi-site construction programs for national brands.

The firm operates on a master builder model, with senior executives engaged from preconstruction through closeout, combining experienced leadership with dedicated hands-on project execution.
