In the century we live in, we often witness the efforts of human beings to transform technology into a tool that will serve to act in harmony with nature. Digital technology is playing an increasingly active role in the construction industry in order to reach new approaches that are comfortable, high quality, healthy and at the same time aesthetic. Especially in our world, where energy consumption is increasing day by day and limited natural resources are rapidly depleted, the possibilities of this technology are utilized in the development of new approaches that consume less energy, produce their own energy and even provide energy to the environment.

An example in this direction can be given as the systems known as smart systems, while responding to the comfort conditions of the users on the one hand, and creating advantages in terms of energy and cost on the other. In the development of such systems, in the building design and production process, the contributions of digital technologies to creating physical models cannot be ignored.

There are many actors who have very different characteristics from each other in the building design and construction process, but who have to work in harmony with each other and share their knowledge in the process. It is aimed to ensure a continuous flow of information between all parties involved in the project, with the communication network to be established between entrepreneurs, designers, contractors or subcontractors, material-component manufacturers, marketing companies, consultancy and supervision companies, training and R&D institutions, which are among these actors.
