Port of Çanakkale

Since its establishment in 2005, beside the port management activities for cargo and terminal handling services for almost all type of cargoes and for cruise operations; Port of Canakkale is the only service provider for bunkering and reception of ship-generated waste around the Dardanelles Strait.

Located in the Dardanelles Strait and on the Asian side of Canakkale, Port of Canakkale (Kepez Port) is 11 NM away to south entrance and 26 NM away to north entrance of the strait.

In compliance with ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) Code and in the scope of operating licence had, following type of vessels can be accommodated by the port;

With its draft alongside the pier starts from 14 m and reaches upto 28 m and its pier 214 m long; port is capable to dock up to panamax size vessels. Moreover, having the 30,000 m² open-bounded customs storage area and 3,000 m² covered customs warehouse, almost all type of cargoes can be handled and stored at Canakkale (Kepez) Port.
