Founded in 2000 with sustainability at its core, Polat Enerji is one of Türkiye’s leading energy companies. Focusing on the country’s wind energy potential, the company contributes to clean energy generation through five wind power plants, one of which operates as a hybrid solar facility. With the Soma, Geycek, Göktepe, Poyraz, and Ege Wind Power Plants, Polat Enerji holds a pioneering position as a major investor in wind energy in Türkiye.

To ensure the efficient, balanced, and uninterrupted use of renewable energy resources, Polat Enerji places energy storage investments among its key strategic priorities. By implementing one of Türkiye’s first grid-scale wind energy storage systems, the company enhances energy supply security and supports continuity of production through storage solutions integrated into wind (WPP) and solar (SPP) projects.

In 2024, Polat Enerji transitioned into a multinational structure with the establishment of Polat Energy Europe. With five solar power plants operating in Hungary, the company now manages a total of 11 power plants with an installed capacity of 1,135 MW. Across its operations, Polat Enerji generates approximately 2.5 billion kWh of electricity annually, delivering greenhouse gas emission reductions equivalent to planting around 55 million trees, or approximately 1.3 million tons of emissions per year.
