Pierre Cardin was born as a child of an Italian immigrant family. He had much bigger plans for his future whose family was only a farmer. For this reason, he began to work with a famous tailor in Saint-Etienne when he was just 14. Young tailor, who was eager to work hard, he began to work for a fashion house in La Paix in 1944. He acquainted himself with enough information and experience there. That fashion home was the biggest French fashion home of that time.

Since 1960's, Pierre Cardin succeeded being the most important commercial brand with 900 different product licenses in 140 country. What he succeeded is what his dreams were exactly like and he only stayed adhere to his dreams and decisions. Although he has been remembered as fashion emperor, he was modest enough to say that "The best thing i have done in my whole life was cutting, drawing and sewing.
