OzU CanSat

Founded in 2023, our team is an undergraduate engineering design project representing Ozyegin University in the international CanSat Competition organized by the American Astronautical Society. Our multidisciplinary team of electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and computer scientists collaborate to design, build, and test a small sized satellite system.

Objective is to construct a probe that can be deployed from a specified altitude, transmit telemetry in real-time, and use a various descent control systems to land safely.

Beyond achieving our competition goals, our team's mission is to provide every fellow engineer with hands-on experience in engineering design process. We'll progress from brainstorming and concept generation to launching our flight hardware at the competition! We are a dedicated team that values innovation, excellence in performance, and educational impact.
