Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC)

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC) is an international alternative dispute resolution (ADR) centre headquartered in Istanbul. Two international agreements, i.e. the “Statute of OIC Arbitration Centre” and the “Host Country Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (ICCIA)” constitute the legal basis of the Center’s establishment.

The Centre assists natural and legal persons from the Member States of the OIC and Non-OIC States to settle commercial and investment disputes.

The Centre is the first-ever, only, and foremost ADR centre serving the whole OIC community, with access to all 57 OIC Member States. It stands out as a successful, state-of-the-art demonstration of how all the Member States of the second largest international organisation of the world, after the UN, can unite to contribute to “working together for a better tomorrow”.

The Centre strictly adheres to independence, impartiality, party autonomy and efficiency in all its services.

The OIC-AC attaches utmost importance to global partnership and firmly believes in the advantages of effective cooperation among ADR centres and other ADR stakeholders, which is a pressing need given the ever-growing nature of the ADR industry.
