Excellence

Across all areas of Optical Express we’re committed to helping our employees learn and develop to deliver service excellence.

In the last few years we’ve made additional investment into transformational change. It’s had a hugely positive impact, on our patients’ experience and on our colleagues in their day-to-day roles.

For optometrists, it’s an exciting time to be at Optical Express. No matter what stage of the career ladder you’re on, there’s no better place in which to develop clinically.

We believe that our CET-approved professional development courses and clinical support systems are second to none. Our partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University offers our optometrists the opportunity to qualify as Independent Prescribers, fully funded by us.

We also invest in continued training for team members across Optical Express, with a number of colleagues currently working towards qualifications in Marketing, Learning & Development and Personnel Practice.

We believe that Optical Express has a responsibility to give back, and we want to make a difference on a worldwide scale, too. We continue to partner with international charity Sightsavers, working to eliminate avoidable blindness in developing countries, and support charities at home including The STV Appeal and Cash for Kids.
