Ophthalmic Photographers' Society

The Ophthalmic Photographers' Society (OPS) is the premier educational and training organization for ophthalmic imaging. We are the oldest established society in the world dedicated to ophthalmic imaging.

Membership in the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society is open to anyone having an interest in any aspect of photography of the eye and Ophthalmology. Our membership is comprised of photographers, physicians, ophthalmic technical personnel, researchers and scientists.

The main objectives of our Society are to provide primary and continuing education in the field of ophthalmic imaging and photography, to set and maintain standards for the profession through multiple certification programs, and to promote scientific advancement in ophthalmic imaging technology.

Imaging technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace. The OPS sponsors regional, national, international and online educational programs that provide the most comprehensive and diverse training for ophthalmic imaging.
