Overview
NUWAC is a rehabilitation technology venture developing a wearable system for gait assessment and real-time vibrotactile biofeedback.
The system combines plantar-pressure sensing, bilateral lower-limb motion tracking, local real-time processing, a mobile application, secure data infrastructure, and clinician-facing analysis. It is designed to help rehabilitation professionals measure gait more objectively and deliver time-specific feedback during movement.
Our initial clinical and research focus is gait asymmetry and motor rehabilitation in ambulatory adults living with chronic unilateral stroke.
NUWAC is currently in technical development and analytical and clinical validation preparation. Clinical efficacy has not yet been established.
Founded by Omid Aslani Damirchi, Physical Therapist and Product Lead, and Hamidreza Asgari, Engineering Lead and Physiotherapy Student.
