Novopor US is the North American manufacturing platform of Novopor Advanced Science, a global specialty chemicals company headquartered in India and backed by Bain Capital. Novopor US unites two established U.S. manufacturers: Pressure Chemical Company (PCC), founded in 1964 in Pittsburgh, PA, and FAR Chemical, based in Palm Bay, FL.

PCC specializes in chemical process development, piloting, scale-up, and custom/toll manufacturing, with deep capabilities in high-pressure chemistry, catalytic hydrogenation, alkoxylation/ethoxylation, and polymerization. Its product lines include liquid crystals, ferrocenes, polymer standards, and platinum-group metal catalysts, serving customers from Fortune 500 petrochemical companies to early-stage innovators.

FAR Chemical produces complex specialty chemicals — including its proprietary FARMetl™ acetylacetonates, organosilanes, and Grignard-based intermediates — for the electronics, aerospace & defense, coatings, and adhesives industries, with custom manufacturing from gram to multi-ton scale.

Together, PCC and FAR give Novopor US the technical depth and manufacturing capacity to serve customers across pharmaceuticals, electronics, aerospace, coatings, and industrial specialty markets, backed by Novopor's global R&D and six core technology platforms.
