Overview
Northel, 1993 yılında kurulmuş ve 2003 yılında da rüzgar türbini teknolojileri geliştirmek amacıyla AR&GE çalışmalarına başlamıştır. 3 kW’lık ilk rüzgar türbini uygulamasını Söke’de bir radyo link için uygulamış ve bu doğrultuda 100’ün üzerinde benzer güçte projeyi hayata geçirmiştir.
Lisanssız sektörde rüzgar türbini pazarında ilk şebeke bağlantılı türbinleri, Northel devreye almıştır. 2017 yılında BUSKİ’ye kurulan 300 kW güçteki POYRA model türbininde Aselsan ile güç elektroniğinde iş birliği yapılmış, TSE ile ortak yürütülen süreç sonunda türbin TS-EN 61400 sertifikasına haiz olmuş bununla birlikte TSE ilk defa yaptığı sertifikalandırma sayesinde bu konuda akredite kurum olmuştur.
Northel, yurt dışındaki Pazar potansiyelini önemsemektedir, 2009 yılından beri ABD’de faaliyet göstermektedir.
