Nordex North America

As one of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturers, the Nordex Group provides high-yield, cost-efficient solutions that support long-term, sustainable power generation across a wide range of geographical and climatic conditions.

Nordex North America serves two key markets: the United States and Canada. With renewable energy gaining momentum across the region, wind power continues to play a vital role in the energy transition. The Nordex Group has been active in North America since 2000, with its regional headquarters located in Chicago, Illinois, and a manufacturing and training hub in West Branch, Iowa.

In Canada, we’re proud to expand our presence with a new office in Montréal, Québec—a strategic move that underscores our commitment to the growing Canadian market and our desire to be closer to our partners and stakeholders. This new location enhances our ability to support local projects and contribute meaningfully to Canada’s clean energy future.

At our West Branch facility, we manufacture hubs, drivetrains, and machine houses for our advanced turbine models, including the N163. Our state-of-the-art training center offers hands-on courses for service technicians, subcontractors, and customers, using a fully refurbished Delta4000 turbine as a simulator for N149, N163, and N175 training. We also provide specialized training on our anti-icing system technology.

Across our offices and field teams, #TeamNordex in North America includes more than 600 dedicated employees working together to accelerate the energy transition.
