The NORSCAND(R) cell is used primarily for salt splitting processes for lithium chloride, lithium sulphate, and lithium carbonate conversion to lithium hydroxide and for salt splitting of sodium sulphate to regenerate sodium hydroxide and sulphuric acid.
NESI works with start-up companies, existing chemical producers, and other technology companies to develop, design, and implement electrolysis process technologies for commercial scale production.
