The concept of design education, production, representation, and comprehension has been a recurring subject of debate throughout history. Alongside Cartesian thinking, the visual sense, which is argued to have a direct relationship with reason and intellect, has been prioritized, and it has been accepted that the body can be deceptive. This tendency has also influenced the perception of space and the understanding of architecture. With this visual-centric approach, space has become a mere volume seen from the outside and within visual range, weakening the relationship between the subject and the space. The removal of boundaries between the "Subject" and the "Object" ("User" and "Space") is considered to be achievable through the subject's physical interaction with space. The transformation of space from being an object within visual range to a "Thing" and the subject becoming a part of it is a reflection of this concept.

To touch space is to establish a direct connection with it, to integrate with it. Architecture is not just the ability to design the right spatial composition but also the capacity to design the experiential process by eliminating the boundaries between the "Subject" and the "Space."

NODE Studio does not view architecture as simply designing volumes. It values the context, the experience of space through all the senses, and the subject who connects with space. It strives to make each space unique through its user and the user's experience.
