Mr Pool Man

We’re Mr Pool Man, a proudly Aussie owned and family run business that’s been helping pool owners since the 90s.

It all kicked off in 1998 when Hardy Hintze (aka Dad) swapped the corporate grind for a pool pole and started Water Wise Pool Services. It was a big shift in pay and lifestyle, but the idea was simple: honest work, fair prices, and helping locals enjoy their backyard pools without the headaches.

Fast forward a few years, the name Mr Pool Man was born in 2008 and officially became a company in 2014. Tom (Son) and Natalie (Daughter) joined the business early on, helping grow it from a local service run into one of Australia's leading online pool retailers. These days, we’ve got a tight team of pool experts who actually care about our customers and their pools.

This business is our lifestyle. We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use in our own backyard and we’re not here to upsell you stuff you don’t need. No pressure, no jargon, just the best pool gear, real advice, and good old fashioned service.

We’ve helped over 350,000 pool owners across Australia cut through the confusion and take control of their pool care. Whether you're after parts, chemicals, new equipment, or just a straight answer, we’ve got your back.

What we stand for

We believe in quality that lasts, not landfill. If we sell it, it’s built to hold up in Aussie backyards and we’ll teach you how to use it, fix it, and get the most out of it.

The better care you can take of your gear, the longer it lasts. That’s better for your wallet, better for your weekends, and better for the planet.
