MIL was established in 2006 by the brothers Erik and Harald Askvig. Today, MIL Shipping is a shipbrokering company with significant expertise in Newbuilding projects, supported also by Chartering and SnP services, complementing projects with analysis, consultancy and market intelligence.
The brokers in MIL operate on a world-wide basis and are located in Oslo, Hareid and Istanbul.
Our main focus is on specialised vessels, typically within Offshore Energy segments, Aquaculture, Fisheries and Passenger vessels.
MIL has brokered construction contracts at shipyards in all major shipbuilding markets, including but not limited to Norway, Spain, Turkey, and the Far East.
