Miele Australia

Founded by Dr. Miele and Dr. Zinkann in 1899, Miele is a proud fourth generation, family-owned and run company with our roots in Gutersloh, Germany. We are a company based on trust, and the recognition that you can only be successful if you truly believe in what you are doing.

Among the wide range of premium domestic and commercial appliances, did you know that we started our journey with the innovative creation of a cream separator? The original founders also developed butter churners, washing machines, handcarts, bicycles and even motor cars before narrowing their product focus to what you see in store today!

Underpinned by German engineering and premium quality, Miele Australia and New Zealand is one of the company's highest performing regions, with our success allowing for innovation within the brand to ensure we best cater for our ANZ consumers.

Our culture is one of collaboration, care, respect, loyalty and passion. We live and breathe our core values of quality, responsibility, cooperation, independence, continuity and long-term visibility in order to surprise and delight customers everywhere, every day. We have an important focus on the health and wellbeing of our Miele family which can be seen through a range of successful initiatives and benefits including: flexible working arrangements, free yearly health checks, extra superannuation, enticing staff discounts, access to EAP, and reward and recognition programs.

The ideology of “Immer Besser” (Forever Better), is one of growth and commitment to continuous improvement. Bright ideas, regular communication and transparency are encouraged while special 'Miele Moments' are recognized and celebrated!
