METU Green Campus Community (ODTÜ Yeşil Kampüs Topluluğu / YKT) was established in 2017 to operate in order to develop METU campus in a socially, economically, and ecologically balanced way and to exist as a community that will carry out studies focused on information, research and development, and coordination.
YKT carries out activities within the framework of education and training, research and development, and social service related to green campus components (food, water, energy, climate change, education and awareness, built environment, natural environment, waste and recycling, materials and transportation), in accordance with the mission and vision of METU.
