Medirite

Welcome to Medirite, where our mission since 1999 has been to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and affordability. It all started with our first store at Checkers Hyper Brackenfell, and now, with over 140 in-store dispensaries across Shoprite and Checkers, we're proud to serve communities nationwide.

Convenience is key to our approach. Nestled within selected Checkers and Shoprite supermarkets, and backed by Transpharm, our pharmaceutical wholesaler, we're strategically positioned to meet the growing demand for accessible healthcare. Many of our locations cater specifically to previously underserved communities, addressing a crucial gap in pharmaceutical services.

As a trusted service provider and preferred partner to numerous medical aids, we offer customers the ease of filling chronic and scheduled prescriptions while doing their grocery shopping. Moreover, our wellness screenings, covered by most medical aids, empower customers to take proactive steps towards better health.

Our team of skilled pharmacists and healthcare professionals stands ready to offer expert advice and guidance, ensuring every customer receives top-notch care. Whether it's managing a chronic condition or selecting the right product, we're here to support you.
