MITS is a university-based company located at the Bilkent University campus in Turkey. MITS has two key areas of operation;

• Virtual Communication Services for Healthcare:

MITS is Turkey's first and only technology R&D company providing virtual communication services specific to the healthcare industry. MITS provides end-to-end services, ranging from software to design, event management, and event reporting to creative services, making every effort to make each virtual pharma event a success story.

With innovative communication channels, MITS aims to bring a new breath to the healthcare sector shaped by economic sanctions, changing regulations, and particularly by visit and promotion restrictions.

The VIME (Virtual Medical Events) platform, a registered technology created by MITS, is the world’s first virtual event platform that has been developed in line with the needs of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

• Medical Informatics R&D:

Core Competences: Applied statistics, Data mining, machine learning, Knowledge discovery from large datasets, with specific applications to medical datasets, Database systems, data warehousing, database and network administration, Signal and image processing, computer vision, Multi-tier Web-based application development, Software-as-a-Service.

In its Medical Informatics practice, MITS partakes in international R&D projects. MITS is currently the IT Work Package leader in a 5-year, multinational, multicenter FP7-HEALTH project.
