The night before a submission, somebody is cross-checking four versions of the same spreadsheet, trying to work out which numbers can actually be defended.

MAP360 was founded in 2021 by sustainability consultants who had spent a decade working alongside clients across industries, company sizes and reporting needs. We compiled ESG data by hand across dozens of sites and hundreds of metrics, often as an extension of our clients’ teams. Different businesses had different requirements, but the underlying challenges were remarkably similar.

So we built the system we had needed: one place where every figure keeps its source, owner and date, so a number survives the question instead of ending the conversation.

Then we found the harder problem. Once the data is clean, the questions change. Not “is this number right?” but “why did this site move eleven percent?”, “which supplier is the real exposure?”, “are we going to miss this target?” Those are not reporting questions, and a form cannot answer them.
