Longwood Quarries
Mining in United Kingdom
Overview
Longwood Quarries Ltd has been supplying quality Lincolnshire limestone and agricultural lime in the local area for over 80 years. Incorporated in 1941.
Initially supplying burnt lime from kilns on the site (pictured in 1944), the quarry now supplies screened agricultural lime to farmers across the local area. But our primary focus is on providing quality limestone aggregates to the construction industry ranging from large housing and civil engineering companies to small local odd-jobbers.
Longwood Quarries Limited is a sister company of Blankney Estates Limited.
