Levex is Turkey's first and Only Yeast Extract Manufacturer.

Yeast extract is made up of natural components from the yeast cell: proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. To produce yeast extract, the contents of the yeast cell are broken down by enzymes and the cell wall is removed. Simply put, yeast extract is made of natural components from the yeast cell without the surrounding cell wall. Among these components, it is primarily the mix of proteins and amino acids that provide yeast extract with its unique seasoning qualities.

Applications

Soups, sauces, broths and gravies ; Incorporated into soups and sauces, yeast extracts can provide delicate flavouring notes, as well as richer tastes. Because of their intense flavour, they can also help you reduce the sodium content of your packaged goods

Snack Seasonings ; Add yeast products to potato chips, crackers, and other snacks for a natural taste sensation. They act as flavour carriers and taste improvers.

Ready meals ; Adding yeast products to prepared meals — such as risotto, hamburger mixes, macaroni and cheese — can balance the overall flavour of your recipe. Yeast products are resistant to freezing, canning, and heating processes.
