Legum Sports Law Magazine

We, as the Legum Sports family, are a community of lawyers who are interested in the civil and criminal dimensions of sports, in legal regulations that are the assurance of the maintenance of sports activities with the principle of rights and justice, performing semi-academic studies in this field. Although some of our legal colleagues do not believe in its existence, we are very ambitious in the field of Sports Law. Well, if you still wonder about what sports law is, we can explain it to you as follows: a multi-disciplinary, sui-generis (boo-ya!) field of law, with its specific legal characteristics, regulating all private and public law relations related to sports activities. Here, as the Legum Sports Family, we offer you our humble evaluations, opinions and suggestions regarding this area, in particular. So, what are we dealing with? We take current developments related to sports activities, blend them with the concept of law that we already have (boo-ya again!) and convey new developments to you from the perspective of a lawyer. We also make a great display by pairing the Latin word “Legum” meaning law and the English word “Sports”.
