Köksal&Partners Attorney Partnership was founded in 2005. In 2011, Köksal&Partners has moved its headquarter to Istanbul and expanded its operations to include three of the most populated cities in Turkey; namely Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

The firm's founding partner Mehmet Ali Köksal is a well-recognized lawyer known for his contributions to the IT&Telecoms and IP fields. He is the chairman of the Legal Working Group at Informatics Association of Turkey and he has organized comprehensive industry events with the attendance of government bodies such as the Ministry of Justice and the Court of Cassation.

Köksal&Partners is actively working to share its expertise in Tech Law. The firm has successfully organized the International Informatics Law Congress series (in 2013 and 2016) held in İzmir which hosted an audience of over 5.000 people and more than 70 academic sessions and 166 speakers.
