During the peak periods of the pandemic, in response to the shortage of intensive care ventilators, the production of 100 ventilators in April 2021 and 5000 ventilators in June 2021 was initiated based on the requests of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. This production process, which took place in a very short time, marked the beginning of the KoçMedical story. Established as Koç Group's Netherlands-based company in the field of health technologies, we aim to provide innovative solutions to healthcare needs, expand access to healthcare for large populations, and become a regional leader in health technology.

We continue our work in two different product groups: disposable medical consumables and medical devices. At KoçMedical, we focus on the design and production of medical devices and medical consumables in the conventional products category. KoçMedical acquired 100% of the shares of Bıçakcılar Medical Devices Industry and Trade Inc. in July 2023. Bıçakcılar has been operating in the medical devices field for over 60 years. With this merger, we aim to diversify our product range in the health technologies sector, expand export markets, and make a significant contribution to global growth.

Our long-term goals include creating a wide entrepreneurial ecosystem for health technologies both domestically and internationally. Additionally, with its agile, dynamic, and innovative spirit, we aim to meet all the requirements for uninterrupted growth and to be among the industry leaders in every area related to medical devices.
