Kocaeli Üniversitesi Gastronomi Kulübü

Kocaeli University Gastronomy Club, founded in 2015, is one of the most active and widely participated student organizations at Kocaeli University. With more than 1,500 members, the club offers an open platform not only for Kocaeli University students but also for everyone interested in gastronomy.

Our club organizes a wide range of activities, including educational programs, workshops, tasting events, seminars, kitchen talks, and industry visits related to the field of gastronomy. In addition, we actively take part in the kitchen planning and execution of official university events and rectorate protocol dinners, contributing both to hands-on training and institutional representation.

In collaboration with Kartepe Municipality and the Faculty of Tourism, Kocaeli University Gastronomy Club organizes the Kartepe Gastronomy Festival every year. This festival serves as an important platform for promoting regional culinary culture and bringing students together with local producers.

Moreover, during the Winter term of 2024, our club became the most-viewed gastronomy student club on Instagram across Turkey, demonstrating a strong digital presence and outreach. This achievement highlights that our club produces impactful projects not only within the university but also at a national level.

As KOU Gastronomy Club, we continue to aim for organizing high-quality culinary events while contributing to the professional and sectoral development of gastronomy students.
