KMS Tools & Equipment

Proudly Canadian, KMS Tools & Equipment is the go-to industrial distributor for the best value in tools, guaranteed, offering an unmatched selection of professional, value, and specialty tools. We are here to serve tool users across Western Canada with 16 locations, an expert outside sales team, and a full e-commerce site.

In 1981, Stan Pridham was a mechanic, woodworker, and car buff. He was frustrated by how hard it was to find good tools at fair prices. What started in Stan’s basement became the first KMS Tools (Coquitlam, BC) in 1983, named after his family: Kathy, Marilee, and Stan.

More than 40 years later, we remain 100% Canadian owned and operated. Stan built KMS Tools on "bend-over-backwards" customer service and a hard-working “can do” attitude. Guided by those values, we are the go-to hub for many of Canada's tool pros, delivering expert advice and a friendly, neighborhood feel in every store.

Not Just Another Tool Store:

• Unmatched Selection: We stock a diverse inventory of tools you won't find elsewhere, including the top power tool brands, hand tools, woodworking, metalworking, welding, air tools, shop equipment and more.
