Bilinmeyen Kelime Kalmasın sloganıyla yola çıkan kelime.com ilk olarak 2019 yılında KelimeX adıyla hayat buldu. Yayın macerasına tarihi dillerin öğrenimini kolaylaştırma ve eski metinlerdeki bilgiye erişim sağlamayı basitleştirmek için eski Türkçe sözlükleri web ortamına aktararak başladı. Kısa süre içerisinde akademik camianın teveccühüne mazhar olan projemiz zaman içerisinde misyon ve vizyonunu genişleterek "İki Dilli Sözlükler Veritabanı" olarak yeni bir kimlik kazandı.
Kelime.com okuduğunuz metin ve eserlerde bilinemeyen, çözülemeyen ve çevrilemeyen hiçbir kelime kalmayıncaya dek büyümesini sürdürecek ve içeriğini her zaman güncelleyecektir.
