Founded in 1974 by brothers Hasan and Cemal Kalyoncu, Kalyon İnşaat has rapidly grown into a global brand, completing numerous large-scale projects worldwide.

Today, Kalyon Holding is one of the leading players in the Turkish economy, operating across various sectors, including construction, investment, operations, real estate, energy, and industry, with nearly 35,000 employees and over 81 years of collective experience. Through its investments in technology and innovation, it is implementing the business models of the future today.

The Holding has delivered numerous pioneering projects, including: Istanbul Airport; the undersea water pipeline to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; Europe’s largest biological wastewater treatment plant; Turkey’s first bus rapid transit (BRT) line; the country’s first offshore drilling platform; and the world’s first integrated solar panel production facility.

Kalyon Holding has a strong presence not only in the economic sphere but also in social value initiatives. It has made lasting contributions to society in the fields of education, environment, and arts and culture. It established Erdem College in 1998, Hasan Kalyoncu University in 2008, and in 2020, launched Kalyon Kültür at Taş Konak in Şişli to support cultural production.
