Joule's Brewery

At Joule’s Brewery, we believe great pubs are built around great people, great beer and genuine hospitality.

Rooted in Shropshire, we’re proud custodians of the Joule’s beer trademark, the 6th oldest beer trademark in the world, combining over 200 years of brewing heritage with a growing collection of characterful Brewery Taps, managed houses and tenanted pubs across Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and beyond.

From perfectly kept cask ale and roaring fires to heritage refurbishments and warm welcomes, we’re passionate about preserving traditional pub values whilst continuing to invest in people, places and the future of the British pub.

Our pubs are individual, community-led and full of personality, each with its own character, atmosphere and story to tell.

Alongside brewing in Market Drayton using pure Shropshire mineral water, we work closely with our tenants, managers and teams to create pubs people genuinely love spending time in.

Real ale. Real fires. Real food. Real hospitality.
