Jeffco Public Schools - Colorado

Jeffco Public Schools, Colorado's second-largest K-12 district, has been providing educational excellence since 1950, building strong generational ties throughout the community upon a foundation of quality. We serve 69,000 students in 155 schools within 770 square miles.

Nearly 10 percent of all Colorado K-12 students attend a Jeffco school and our employees benefit from partnerships with experienced, dynamic school leaders throughout our district. Our Jeffco Generations vision and strategic plan map out with focus and clarity what we expect our schools to accomplish with our students.

Jeffco offers something for every student, including treasured community neighborhood schools; dual language, expeditionary, integrated arts, STEM/STEAM, and International Baccalaureate programs; full-day kindergarten; 55 preschool locations; career/technical education; non-traditional alternatives; 17 charter schools; and a one-of-a-kind outdoor education experience.

Jeffco honors Exemplary Performance, Integrity, Teamwork, Valuing People, and Entrepreneurial Spirit in all employees. We aspire to innovate and embrace new modes of delivering engaging learning experiences for all students.

A Jeffco student experience will include authentic, hands-on, and skills-focused curriculum, guided by the Jeffco Generations Skills: Civic & Global Engagement, Communication, Critical & Creative Thinking, Collaboration & Leading by Influence, Agility & Adaptability, and Self-Direction.
