International Public Policy Association

The International Public Policy Association (IPPA) is a non-profit organisation based at ENTPE-LAET, University of Lyon in France, and governed by the French law of the 1st July 1901.

This organisation aims to :

• Promote scientific research in the field of public policy and contribute to its internationalisation

• Strengthen collaboration in the public policy academic community by encouraging the exchange of knowledge among public policy experts and students.

Activities proposed:

• The International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP) allows scholars to present and discuss the latest advances in public policy research. Participants exchange different perspectives and coordinate future research opportunities in various round tables.

• The International Workshops on Public Policy (IWPP) serve as an international and pluralized platform for scholars to discuss their latest research and to work collectively on a shared research question

• The Seasonal Schools offer the opportunity for PhD students and early career researchers to receive feedback on their research and expand their knowledge on specific public policy approaches, concepts, and theories

• The International Review of Public Policy (IRPP) journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal and the flagship journal of the most important worldwide association for public policy in the social sciences

• The Networks on Public Policy establishes a global platform for PhD students and researchers in the field of public policy. These networks may be regional, thematic, or professional, and they aim to amplify researchers' voices, provide collaborative spaces, and create opportunities for engagement.

• International Book Series on Public Policy (Palgrave Macmillan): IPPA recognizes significant contributions to the field of public policy and publishes a book series to encourage comparative and interdisciplinary academic research.
