II BY IV DESIGN

Founded in 1990 by Dan Menchions and Keith Rushbrook, II BY IV DESIGN is an internationally recognized creative studio shaping experiences across hospitality, residential, retail, cruise, and product design.

For more than 35 years, we have believed that the most enduring design does not begin with a formula. Every project starts with understanding. By listening carefully to our clients, exploring context, and considering the emotional experience a space is intended to create, we uncover what makes each opportunity distinct.

With studios in Toronto, London, and New York, our team of designers, strategists, and creative thinkers brings together design expertise, commercial understanding, and a deep appreciation for how people live, travel, gather, and connect. This approach has resulted in a diverse international portfolio that is united not by a signature style, but by a commitment to authenticity, individuality, and lasting relevance.

From luxury hotels and branded residences to restaurants, mixed use communities, cruise ships, and custom products, we create experiences that foster connection and enrich everyday life. Our work reflects the belief that great design should feel natural to its environment, meaningful to its audience, and enduring in its appeal.

Recognized with more than 450 international design awards and five Designer of the Year honours, II BY IV DESIGN continues to create thoughtful experiences that are as distinctive as the clients, brands, and communities they serve.
