Hovid Bhd
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in Malaysia
Overview
With 80 years of expertise, Hovid has built a legacy of innovation and excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.
Our journey began in the early 1940s with Ho Yan Hor Herbal Tea, a unique blend of 24 specially selected herbs formulated by Dr. Ho Kai Cheong. Recognized for its cooling and antiviral properties, it became a trusted remedy during the post-World War II era and the global flu epidemic of the 1950s. Today, Ho Yan Hor remains a household name, cherished for its natural benefits.
In the 1980s, under the leadership of David Ho, a trained pharmacist with a passion for innovation, Hovid expanded into pharmaceutical manufacturing. This transformation positioned us as one of Malaysia’s leading producers of high-quality medicinal preparations and health supplements. Today, we offer a diverse portfolio of over 400 products, reaching more than 50 countries worldwide.
With decades of experience and a steadfast commitment to Continuous Innovation and Quality, Hovid remains a trusted name in healthcare, delivering excellence, speed, and cutting-edge solutions to the world.
