Hope Revival Organization (HRO)

Hope Revival Organization (HRO) is a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian NGO, based in Gaziantep, Türkiye, and implement its project in Türkiye and Syria (Northwest Syria).

HRO seeks to relieve the suffering and ensure the well-being and advance the dignity of Conflict-affected populations and of those who live in fragile settings, by responding to the concerns and needs of internally displaced people (IDPs) residing in Syria and refugees living in Turkiye, with specialized and focused non-specialized interventions by using community-based, context-related and culturally appropriate approach within the following sectors:

1. MHPSS (Mental Health Psycho-social Support), by the provision of multi-layered services according to the IASC MHPSS Pyramid through psychiatrists, mhGAP Doctors, psychologists, and Psychosocial workers (PSWs), in addition, to integrating MHPSS services to Health Facilities and Community Centres to be more accessible and mitigate the stigma.

2. Protection, including (GBV, Child Protection including non-Formal Education, and General Protection including awareness-raising on risk education, and legal awareness and consultation by local lawyers on Civil Status Documentation, and Housing, Lands, and Properties).

3. Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and child safeguarding.

4. Peacebuilding and community resilience.

HRO combines humanitarian and development approaches to provide immediate services while laying the groundwork for long-term impact, emphasizing local participation, integration of services and strategic partnerships. HRO takes on a specific focus on civic skills to empower communities to find, design and implement the solutions that work best for them to ensure that all services are provided in a way that promotes psycho-social well-being and is inclusive for people with specific vulnerabilities, including those with mental health problems or survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
