Overview
Ülkemizde Harita ve Kadastro Mühendisliği eğitimine 1949 yılında Yıldız Teknik Okulu‘nda başlanmış ve ilk mezunlarını 1952 yılında vermiştir. Harita ve Kadastro Mühendisleri Odası kurucu 50 üyesi ile, 1954 yılında 6235 Sayılı Yasa ile kurulmuş olan Türk Mühendis Mimar Odaları Birliği (TMMOB)‘nin kurucu ilk on Odası arasında yer almıştır.
TMMOB ve bağlı Odaların meslek ve meslektaş sorunlarının ülke sorunlarından ayrılmayacağı anlayışı içerisinde, hem mesleki alanda hem de ülkemizin aydınlık, çağdaş ve özgürlükçü demokrasinin kurum ve kurallarıyla yaşama geçirilmesi mücadeledesinde yer alan, emek harcayan, katkı ve destek veren onurlu, dürüst meslektaşlarımızı bir kez daha anıyoruz.
